NORTHERN League high-flyers Thornaby breezed past a struggling Willington side to progress into the next round.
Elliot Beddow opened the scoring for the visitors, curling an effort into the top corner from outside the area, leaving Carl Robinson in the Willington goal no chance.
Willington looked to respond quickly, and nearly did thanks to a well-struck effort from a set-piece by Adam Storey that stung the palms of Thornaby goalkeeper Joshua Mazfari.
