DEPARTURE: Andy Morrell

HEDNESFORD Town have placed academy manager Keenan Meakin-Richards in temporary charge after terminating the contract of boss Andy Morrell.
The Pitching In Southern League Premier Central side took just one point from their first four games under Morrell, including a 3-0 home defeat to Coalville on Tuesday.
The Pitmen also crashed out of the FA Cup in the second round qualifying to Step 4 side Halesowen Town. Morrell, the former Wrexham and Tamworth boss, was only appointed by Hednesford in April but his time at the club was quickly ended.
