CHACE Jacquart took full advantage of Potters Bar’s generosity to snatch the only goal of an entertaining encounter.
However, they needed penalty, and other, heroics from star man goalkeeper Toby Bull to keep the points.
The Scholars lived dangerously throughout by insisting on playing out from the back. And on 28 minutes, they paid for it.
Bar keeper Hafed Al Droubi, who scuffed his clearance under-pressure straight to Jacquart, who controlled the ball on the edge of the box, cut inside and coolly slotted home.
