LATE PENALTY DRAMA JOY FOR AYCLIFFE

A GOAL three minutes into added time from the penalty spot saw Newton Aycliffe progress to the next round.
Liam Jarvie was brought down in the box and Jake Petitjean stepped up to fire home the winner.
Experienced captain Simon Russell struck the visitors post from Marco Basic’s 17th minute pull-back.
Aycliffe responded with two efforts in three minutes, Andrei Vasile Ardelean shot over and Joe Ferguson’s curler narrowly cleared the bar.
