HYTHE TOWN 3 WESTFIELD 3

■ WESTFIELD turned a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 lead after first scoring in the 89th minute, only to concede again with the last touch of the game, a far post header from Hythe’s Eli Benoit.
A Frannie Collin header had put Hythe ahead after 25 minutes and Kane Phillip scored a fine second after 53 minutes.
The game had been played in a decent spirit so a melee on the hour was a surprise. Phillip was dismissed, along with Hythe boss Steve Watt, a sub and Westfield’s coach.
