LAST-gasp drama provided cup joy for Shildon and heartbreak for Brighouse Town.
Going into the last five minutes of a closely-fought preliminary round tie, it was the visitors who had the edge courtesy of Jack Boyle, who smashed them into the lead just before the half-time break.
But Dean Thexton’s 86thminute penalty provided Shildon with a reprieve, before all hell let loose in the closing stages.
