THINGS always pop up that you can’t control. Our forward, Joey Butlin, has decided to move on because of our training in the morning and his family commitments. Although we would have preferred to know a bit earlier – it means changing our recruitment strategy – he has to do what’s best for him.
So we’re out there now trying to get the next striker in. At the best of times it’s hard to get a decent number No.9 – never mind when the season has already started.
