■ FC PORTCHESTER took another big step towards the Premier Division title with Saturday’s 6-1home win against Laverstock & Ford.
Ryan Pennery bagged a brace for the hosts and goals from Harrison Brook, Lee Wort, Marley Ridge and Josh Clack wrapped up the points for the Royals.
Second-placed AFC Stoneham kept their very slim title hopes alive with a 4-0win at relegated US Portsmouth.
The hosts were relegated earlier this week, and goals from Stuart Green, Tom Annetts and a brace from Ash Pope, compounded a tough week for the home side.
