ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE

■THE CHAMPAGNE flowed at the FND & KMCO Community Stadium as Stanway Rovers clinched their first Essex Senior League title by beating Athletic Newham.
Goals from Jordan Barnett and Ross Wall were enough to seal the 2–0 win.
Takeley will finish second after beating relegated FC Clacton 3–1. George Powell, Olly Miles and Jack Mitchell got their goals, Glory Longi replying.
Woodford Town clinched third on Good Friday as Micah Jackson, Miles Mitchell-Nelson, Pedro Carvalho and David Gokou goals helped them to beat Hullbridge Sports 4–0.
