PETER Beadle is back in football – and he’s bringing a wealth of experience to Hellenic League Division One side Shortwood United.
The 53-year-old striker-turned-manager once commanded over a million in transfer fees, playing for Tottenham Hotspur, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and Barnet.
He takes the reins at Meadowbank following the departure of former boss Marcus Foxwell and assistant Andrew Moody last week.
