IT TOOK 40 years watching and reporting on football before I made the switch to Non-League. But it’s been a gamechanger and has now become a big part of my life.
Edition 15 of Non-League Day yesterday saw nearly 1,000 clubs across Steps 1 to 6 of the English football pyramid fling open their turnstiles to another wave of new faces. And each occasion offers locals many reasons to stay on board.
