Ace Hayes is No.2 at Rovers

FORMER Brentford, Preston and Wycombe striker Paul Hayes has been named as the new assistant manager of Stanway Rovers.
The 42-year-old made his name at Scunthorpe, where a prolific partnership with future Celtic striker Gary Hooper helped propel Nigel Adkins side into the Championship in 2008-09.
He went on to score more than 150 goals in 600 career appearances and also won promotions with Barnsley, Charlton and Wycombe. Hayes has spent the last two seasons as player-manager of Eastern Counties South side Burnham Ramblers but has now opted to join Stanway as assistant to Brad Wellman, w...
