orth Ferriby is a quiet, residential village sitting on the Humber estuary, a place known for its old bronze age plank boats, an important part of the town’s ancient maritime history.
I walked its leafy lanes on a golden summer’s day, saw high hedges, as the nearby Humber bridge glowed in the sun, just a short stroll from the village and North Ferriby FC’s ground, resplendent with manicured green squares for a pitch.
