CARSHALTON made it five wins from five in the league thanks to a brace from Nathan Young-Coombes.
While the Robins were not at their best, they dominated proceedings and deservedly took all three points.
It was a scrappy opening, made more difficult by a sudden downpour and an early clash of heads between Carshalton team-mates Denzel Akyeampong and Robert Howard. Both were forced to leave the field.
