FORMER Premier League striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher is back in the manager’s dugout with Step 6 strugglers Widnes Town.
The Chemics are playing their first season in the National League System in the shadows of Widnes FC, who withdrew from the NPL Premier in June 2025.
But they collected just one point from their opening four fixtures in North West Counties League Division One South, leading to the departure of the club’s first ever manager Paul McNally.
