TRIBUTES FLOOD IN FOR TOP HARRIER DAVID, 38

TRIBUTES have been paid to a former Midlands favourite David Mc-Dermott, who has died at the age of 38.
McDermott became Walsall FC’s youngest-ever league debutant when he came on as a substitute in the Saddlers’ League Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday in August 2004.
Since then, he turned out for a number of clubs including York City and Kidderminster Harriers before going on to manage Gresley Rovers.
Harriers were among each one of his previous clubs to pay tribute to the Stourbridge-born winger.
