Barrow AFC confirm new ownership change following Paul Casson’s departure

Chairman Paul Hornby has quickly put together a new structure at the club.

Barrow have swiftly resolved their change of ownership within a month of former owner Paul Casson stepping away.
The American businessman brought his four-year reign at the Bluebirds to an end last month, but chairman Paul Hornby has quickly put together a new structure at the club.
The National League side are now owned by a locally-based consortium which also includes the Bluebirds Supporters Trust, who hold a ten per cent stake.
Three new investors, Tony Shearer, Mark Hetherington and Kristian Wilkes, have come on board with Hornby remaining part of the new regime.
Focus can now return to on-pitch issues where Barrow’s form has nosedived in recent weeks.
