West Ham United’s London Stadium is set to host this season’s National League promotion final, it is understood.
The final is due to be staged at the stadium, built for the London 2012 Olympics and now home to the Premier League Hammers, on Sunday June 5.
Last season’s final was held at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate as Hartlepool United won promotion to the Football League following a dramatic penalty shoot-out against Torquay United.
London Football Scene have reported this season’s showpiece will take place at 60,000-seater London Stadium arena.
While Stockport County are in pole position to scoop the title, the race for the play-offs looks set to go down to the wire as teams battle it out to finish in the top seven.
The Eliminator games kick off on Wednesday, May 25 with fifth-place playing sixth and, the following night, fourth versus seventh, while the runners-up and third-place team get byes to the semi-finals, which take place over the weekend of the 28th.
The promotion final is set to be played the following Sunday.
