Southend United boss Kevin Maher was a relieved man after his side comfortably saw off Aldershot Town at Roots Hall.
The Shrimpers went into the game without a win their last four outings.
But goals from Andrew Dallas, Slavi Spasov and former Shot Nathan Ralph ensured they were able to bounce back in dominant style, much to the delight of Maher.
“It’s a relief getting a win when you haven’t had one for a few games,” he said. “There’s a bit of tension when you haven’t won and you can feel it at times.
