National League North Manager of the Month

County have put themselves right in the National League North promotion race.

National League

Was December the month that Stockport Country’s promotion push got under way?
Jim Gannon appears to have masterminded a National League North title assault with his red hot in-form side sweeping any challenger aside.
Last month started slowly, limping out of the FA Cup and picking up a point at Chester but the County soon found their range.
Just when they needed it the most, they did what few sides do – win at an in-form Spennymoor Town.
Gannon’s side followed that up with an FA Trophy victory over Altrincham, who they went on to beat three times in as many weeks.
Stockport also went on to trash strugglers Ashton United 6-0, grab an important draw at Alfreton and finish the month with a battling 1-0 win over Kidderminster Harriers.
