JASON Oswell’s seventh goal in six games fired Stockport County further up the table against a gritty but unadventurous Gainsborough Trinity.
County started better, with Oswell’s low shot tipped wide while Jimmy Ball shot wide from range.
Trinity registered their first shot moments before halftime through Nathan Jarman. County ran up the other end and Matty Warburton fired into Ravas.
The Trinity backline was breached after half-time. Ben McKenna crossed for Oswell to flick his header in off the far post.
