AARON WILLIAMS scored 15 minutes from time to earn Brackley a third straight away win.
Williams settled the matter with a low diagonal finish on the right side of the penalty area, drilling the ball past the reach of Southport goalkeeper Mark Halstead after a run and pass from sub Matt Lowe.
The result secures third place for Kevin Wilkin’s team on an afternoon that also saw the Sandgrounders guarantee their place in National League North despite a seventh straight defeat.
