MULHERN RESCUES CUP KINGS COUNTY

SUB Frank Mulhern’s header, almost the last touch of the match, saved Stockport County from defeat by impressive Brackley Town.
It was a first half of few chances, but as the game wore on it was the Hatters’ Elliot Osborne and Matty Warburton that began to click.
On the half hour Osborne fed Warburton and his shot forced Town keeper Danny Lewis into a low save.
Brackley looked an increasing threat in the second half, with Glenn Walker and Shane Byrne whipping tricky corners into the area.
