YORK CITY have turned their season around with this win making it four successive victories.
Clayton Donaldson’s double set the Minstermen up for a result that means the Quakers have won one of their first eight games, though there was little between the sides.The contest burst into life with two goals and a red card coming in an 11-minute first-half burst.
York took the lead from a 23rd-minute corner, Donaldson getting the last touch after a scramble, and their position strengthened when Quakers lost a man.
