IT NEEDED a robust display from Spennymoor to leave Latimer Park with all three points although a grandstand finish nearly saw the hosts nick a point.
Joe Tait needed a shot cleared off the line after just 60 seconds and the script for the first half was written. Spennymoor bombarded Kettering for the first 20 minutes, hitting the bar with Glen Taylor shooting wide soon after.
