Gateshead made it six wins from six on home soil while recording a fifth straight win, but weren’t at their best in front of their first four-figure crowd of the season.

FREE-SCORING Gateshead made it six wins from six on home soil while recording a fifth straight win, but weren’t at their best in front of their first four-figure crowd of the season.
However, the Heed have two strikers in red-hot form, goal-a-game Macaulay Langstaff and Cedwyn Scott already sharing 16 between them, and the pair were the difference in this game.
Once again, the Heed struck early. Owen Bailey hooked a ball forward that saw Langstaff outstrip his marker.
