Last-gasp Rhead stuns Spartans

AFTER their FA Cup heroics against Wrexham, Blyth Spartans were denied their first home league win for two months after a penalty eight minutes into stoppage time rescued a point.
After falling behind to an early Bailey Hobson goal, Blyth turned the game around late in the second half through goals from JJ O’Donnell and substitute Josh Scott.
Spartans looked set for victory until Danny Preston was fouled by Rhys Evans in the area at the death, which Matt Rhead stepped up to convert.
