Ace Crossley puts Blues in angry mood

LEADERS Chester fell to mid-table South Shields, who claimed their first win of the year to end the Blues’ seven-game winning run in some style.
The Mariners put the pressure on from the start, Kyle Crossley found by Dylan Stephenson inside the box before forcing a low stop by Jimmy Storer.
Crossley would redeem himself soon after when Martin Smith’s corner found Coleby Shepherd, whose header fell to the former Newcastle graduate, his deflected shot dipping over Storer to put Shields ahead.
