Zac on track as Walker is the saviour

LAURIE WALKER’S late heroics helped Oxford City take a huge step towards National League North safety.
The hosts enjoyed the faster start in the sunshine, and forced Mateusz Hewelt into early saves. An Aaron Drewe shot saw the stopper get down well, before he beat a shot away from Tom Scott.
Radcliffe were a threat through set-pieces, but City still looked most likely – Zac McEachran’s rasping drive just over the bar the closest the Hoops came.
But it took the Hoops seven minutes to breakthrough after half-time.
