MAGPIES SWOOP IN AFTER TRAVEL HELL

CHORLEY were late for their game at Darlington but wasted no time securing their first away win of the season, despite playing with ten for most of the afternoon.
Their preparation was hardly ideal, being stuck in traffic en route, meaning the fixture did not kick-off until 3.37pm.
Perhaps it was no surprise Darlington were sharper out of the blocks, leading when a Will McGowan pass enabled Cedric Main to turn and fire low into the net from inside the area.
