A SOLID second-half performance saw Southport claim all three points at Haig Ave.
Goals by Tom Moore and Sonny Hilton secured the game for the Sandgrounders after first-half goals by Danny Lloyd and Tyrone Marsh saw the game level at half time.
An early chance fell to the feet of Captain Moore but the defenders effort from close range was saved well by Daniel Wilks.
