A FINE second-half performance from Worksop Town earned them a first win of the season.
Southport had the opening chance as a lack of communication at the back led to Ne-Jai Tucker poking an effort just wide.
Soon after that, Mo Touray curled an effort towards the top corner from the edge of the box that went over the bar.
The Sandgrounders continued their domination as a free-kick dropped for Aaron Pickles, whose impromptu shot went wide.
A stoppage due to a medical emergency in the crowd saw the game halted for 15 minutes.
