Some early pressure was applied by the visitors, with Bobby-Joe Taylor making some impressive runs down the left-hand side.
The reward for Dorking came after just 12 minutes, with a free-kick from the edge of the area by Luke Moore, which was touched in by captain Barry Fuller.
The game opened up and Ryan Maxwell’s Iron began to apply some pressure .
