ST ALBANS City picked up their third consecutive league victory in a comfortable victory at Cressing Road.
Goals from Shaun Jeffers and Mitchell Weiss, the latter getting his first of the season, ensured Ian Allinson’s side continued their good run of form at the expense of the Iron, who remain just outside the relegation zone.
The Saints made a lively start and should have been in front after 16 minutes, only for John Goddard to head over the bar from former Luton Town man Zane Banton’s superb cross.
