EASTBOURNE Borough bounced back from a run of three straight defeats to return to winning ways against Chelmsford City.
Chances were few and far between in the early exchanges, with Charley Kendall firing over early on before the Eastbourne forward saw his low effort deflect off the foot of the post and go wide after doing well to beat Dave Winfield.
However, Chelmsford grew into the game and created a couple of opportunities themselves, with Lee Worgan doing well to deny Charlie Sheringham and then Tom Blackwell.
