LUKE Russe’s last-gasp header earned a determined Chippenham a point at stuttering leaders Dartford.
The Darts came into the match following back to back away defeats and struggled to get on the front foot in the game’s scrappy opening exchanges.
The visitors registered the first effort on target through Harry Warwick, whose long-distance shot was scooped up by Darts shotstopper Dan Wilks on eight minutes.
However, Chippenham took a deserved lead on 21 minutes as Dan Griffiths nodded in a counter-attack to punish Dartford’s sloppy midfield.
