Tinners win again after Winfield red

TRURO CITY defeated ten-man Welling United to hold third place, with this latest reverse plunging Rod Stringer’s side into the relegation zone.
Welling’s cause was not helped by captain Dave Winfield’s red card, his second this season against the Tinners.
The veteran defender went into the book during the opening half for a foul on Dom Johnson-Fisher. In the early exchanges after the turnaround, Winfield then pressed the self-destruct button, wrestling Tyler Harvey to the ground, sparking a mass confrontation.
