DAGENHAM & Redbridge picked up their first point of the season but they, and their hosts for this game, Salisbury, are still looking for their first goals of the new campaign.
Salisbury went close when a good cross from Josh Somerton from the left found Oliver Bray but his header went wide.
However, it was the Daggers who felt that they should have led just before the half hour mark when Ashley Hemmings rattled the crossbar of keeper Will Buse.
