HAMPTON & Richmond’s nightmare run of form continued as they suffered a sixth successive loss at the hands of in-form Worthing.
George Cox gave the visitors an early scare when he volleyed wide before Jack Spong’s shot was headed off the line by Jude Mason.
Worthing took the lead in the 25th minute amid Hampton protests when Sam Packham’s corner was cleared only as far as Brad Dolaghan, who converted the rebound.
