BARNET loanee Finley Wilkinson had a dream home debut for the Clarets as Chelmsford City recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over a determined Hornchurch side in the National League South.
City took the lead after a scrappy opening on 17 minutes when home keeper Ted Collins’ quick kick rebounded off Wilkinson’s back for Archie Tamplin.
He was tackled while bearing down on goal and the ball fell for Wilkinson to tap into the empty net.
City had a great chance to make it two just before the break when Kane Crichlow pulled the ball back for Jake Hyde but...
