Gordon adds to Hitchin woes

FA CUP heroes Stratford Town, having led through Jaanai Gordon’s opener, were forced to dig deep to heap more misery on Hitchin after having Joseph Magunda sent off for a challenge on home goalkeeper Charlie Horlock.
The game was as tight as the score suggests but limited opportunities for a goal since defending was surefooted for both teams.
at Hitchin following his departure from South Shields, had a good early effort saved by Liam O’Brien and hopes were raised for the hosts when Alex Brown netted but it was ruled off side.
