GOSPORT Borough missed a huge play-off opportunity as they fell to defeat against Beaconsfield Town.
Beaconsfield had the afternoon’s first opening as Samuel Togwell forced a smart save from home keeper Toby Steward before the offside flag was raised.
This was followed by a Gosport attack as Dan Wooden narrowly cleared the crossbar after seven minutes from a long ball bfeore the early momentum was halted by a Togwell injury.
