■GRAYS Athletic fought to the end – as did their opponents – during a typically feisty see-saw clash at Parkside in this Thames-Side derby.
After a sluggish opening, the home side took command.
A penalty from David Knight, following a foul on Kai Brown, and a fine solo-effort from Aron Gordon gave Grays a two goal advantage at the break.
But Tilbury came out strongest after the break and had a goal back eight minutes into the second half thanks to Lee Noble.
