■ OSSETT United made it three wins from three with a hard-fought victory over Hebburn Town at Ingfield.
United started strongly and were rewarded by two goals from Nash Connolly in the opening 20 minutes.
The ever-dangerous Amar Purewal pulled one back five minutes later which kick-started Hebburn to end the half strongly.
The second half was a scrappy affair with chances for both sides.
Ali Alshabeeb was a constant threat for the visitors down the left, but Harry Gagen managed him well.
