■ WORKINGTON went back to the top of the table after an impressive second-half recovery.
Glossop had looked the better side in the first 45 minutes, working hard to restrict the visitors while creating chances. After spurning two good opportunities they struck after 12 minutes thanks to a spectacular 25-yard strike from Sam Barrett.
But after strong words from manager Chris Willcock, and a change in system, they roared back in style. Three goals in seven minutes midway through the half turned the game their way.
