■ ATHERTON Collieries made an overdue return to winning ways with a dominant performance over struggling Hanley Town.
Returning striker Scott Bakkor familiarised himself with the Stripes faithful with an early goal following a goalkeeping spillage, before Hanley took a shock lead through a Henry Briscoe double.
The Black and Whites went for the jugular after the half-time interval, buoyed by a vocal home support.
Ethan Kershaw opened the second half with a fantastic looped goal over Adam Whitehouse, before Aaron Dwyer gave Colls the lead via a penalt...
