CHATHAM TOWN’S first win in five games has put them in the mid-table comfort zone.
The Chats got off to a great start, heaping the pressure on during the early stages the contest, and their hard-work paid off when Kasim Aidoo put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute. The fullback got the better of the Cheshunt defender before striking into the bottom right corner.
Chatham continued to have the momentum, but chances went begging and with them failing to capitalise on their dominance it was only 1-0at the break.
