■CHASETOWN produced a superb second-half showing to send Bootle packing.
George Cater and Kieran Fenton went close for the home side in the first half, before Luke Yates rounded keeper Tony Thompson, but the visiting defence managed to snuff out the danger, The second half saw Fenton come close with a curling free-kick that clipped the bar. However, it wasn’t long before Chasetown found the back of the net, with Fenton tapping in from six yards after a well-placed cross.
