■ CLITHEROE made it three wins in a row, edging past struggling Nantwich Town.
The best chance of the first half for Nantwich fell to Tom Pratt, who fired straight at Liam Isherwood after good work down the flank by James Melhado.
Just before the break, Leon Creech saw a shot flash wide of the Nantwich goal via a small deflection.
In the second half, Clitheroe took the lead when Lenni Cirino took one touch to control and one to curl past Ben Garratt into the top corner.
