■ MALDON & Tiptree dented Bury’s promotion chances with an Amine Sassi penalty earning a draw.
In the 36th minute, Bury took the lead after a cleared corner fell to Ryan Jolland, who fired past Elliott Justham. Both Cemal Ramadan and Chris Millar missed chances before half time.
Max Maughn dragged a shot wide early in the second half, and Maldon responded with Mo Amir’s effort after 56 minutes.
